Our lunch spot for the day. We had a little picnic by this abandoned house and got shelter from the wind for 30 minutes. We split a sub sandwich with BBQ chips and Gatorade. It hit the spot.
Panniers are great for hauling stuff on your bike but it's often hard to remember where you put stuff. We're getting a system down bit by bit. We'll be pros by the 50th day. 😎
Interesting what people do. I'm sure there's a story for this picture.

ReplyDeleteThanks All! We're looking forward to the day off.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Angela! Have a great day exploring town and resting.
ReplyDeleteI've finally started making my improvised tent pannier. In the past, my tent went on top of my saddle bag, but I'm trying to get it lower. If it works well, I'll try and make one for the other side for the mattress and cooking kit.
Thanks for the post, keep them coming.
John
Thanks John. It's really nice to have you following us and share your comments. Your are the McGyver of cyclists!! Good luck on your homemade panniers. I look forward to seeing your bike and gear when we hook up in KY for our final segment to the Outer Banks reunion.
