Day 13. Hello Show Me State, Harrisonville, MO

7:30 start from Ottawa, KS with a 3:30 arrival into Harrisonville, MO. Good Bye Kansas and Hello Missouri!

We took a little break for PBJ and trail mix after 25 miles. This spot was just off of a cornfield on KS68. Nice sunny day with pleasant temperatures. 

One more state in the books!!  

The roads were very poor once we got into Missouri. KS 68 didn't have much of a shoulder either and way more traffic than a road pretty much going to rural nowhere should have. 

Short break in Freeman, MO. Unfortunately other than a bench to sit on there were no stores, restaurants, etc. to take advantage of. 

Ang relaxing by the hotel pool while I soak in it. 

5:00 pm at the hotel-Angela works hard, plays hard and rests hard, but she likes to squeeze the paper in to stay current. 😴💤.

Today was our 6th day riding in a row so we're both wearing down a bit. After just a 40 mile ride to Clinton, MO tomorrow we'll have a down day which we are very much looking forward to. We need a day off for sure.
