Day 15. Rest day in Clinton, MO
I did bike washing and maintenance today and Angela treated herself to a haircut and pedicure for pre-Mothers Day since we're riding again tomorrow. Other than that we pretty much rested, napped, read, watched movies on TV and were otherwise horizontal today while feasting on chocolates that our kids Ryan and Michelle and their spouses, Mattie and Adam got for Angela for Mother's Day. Happy Morher's Day to all of you mothers including my daughter Michelle, sisters Stana and Staci, sisters-in-laws Debbie, Marcie and Sandy, my mother-in-law, Sara and Bernie, my Dad's wife.

Scott & Angela - just now finished reading the blog to get to this point. What a cool adventure (one of a lifetime for sure!)!
ReplyDeleteNot sure of your route to the Outer Banks... will you be traveling through Kentucky then Virginia or more southerly (Tennessee then North Carolina)? If the latter one, that's close enough to Atlanta for a southerly ad-hoc pit crew to come north and share a meal and bring supplies!

ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you reached out to me and glad you were able to catch our blog. Right now we're planning to travel through Kentucky and Virginia but I appreciate very much the offer to meet for dinner otherwise if we had veered south closer to Atlanta. Take care and stay in touch!
